Manual of good practices for guides
Cycle tourism is a fascinating way of experiencing nature, enjoying the landscape and getting a taste of country life, where hospitality and the joy of living are at home.
Every slope, every curve, hill or path climbed or descended offer the satisfaction of an intensely lived life, of a rewarded effort, many times tenfold by the accumulated experience and memories.
Traveling by bike offers a lot of freedom, you can cover long distances in a short amount of time, you are being quiet, one with your bike and you have the opportunity of observing the flora and fauna in the area. It is a way of traveling with minimum impact on the environment, you can help increase the quality of life in the communities you are visiting by purchasing local products and you have the opportunity of coming into contact much easier with the locals and their traditions.
Quite right, a bike needs maintenance and riding it involves good knowledge of cycling techniques, of the way it works, but once these are mastered, nothing can stop you!
