Biosferis is the publication of the conservation community – an online magazine created by and for professionals in the field of protected areas.

Why Biosferis?
Because we need a professional, open, and constantly updated dialogue space about what is happening in nature conservation in Romania and beyond. In a context where biodiversity and protected areas are increasingly affected by political, economic, or administrative decisions, Biosferis serves as a source of information, reflection, and mobilization.

Who is it for?
Biosferis is created by and for conservation professionals – protected area managers, researchers, NGOs, authorities, students, and educators. It aims to provide a platform for expression and connection, bringing together relevant voices from the field, offices, and laboratories.

What can you find in Biosferis?
From opinion articles and interviews, to good practices and challenges from protected areas, policy analyses, project presentations, and recommendations for useful tools. Topics range from ecological connectivity and environmental education to studies on bats, bears, or migratory birds. Editorials signed by opinion leaders in conservation offer the perspective needed to understand how things are moving at the national and European level.

Where can you read it?
The magazine is available online, free of charge at propark.ro/biosferis, and each new issue is distributed via newsletterto network professionals and other subscribers.
