Sponsorship – Form 177
Form 177 allows profit-tax paying companies or micro-enterprises to redirect up to 20% of their profit or income tax as a sponsorship to an NGO.
When is Form 177 submitted?
Profit-tax payers can redirect amounts from the tax owed, according to the law, up until the legal deadlines for submitting the annual profit tax/micro-enterprise income tax declaration.
How is Form 177 submitted?
The form is completed as a PDF, which can be downloaded from the ANAF website – you can find it here: Form 177.
The legal regulation governing the use of this form is ANAF Order no. 3.562/2024.
The form must be submitted electronically, through the e-guvernare.ro platform. Before submission, there must be a sponsorship contract signed between the company and the NGO, stating that the sponsorship will be made through Form 177, i.e., via tax redirection.
