Nature That Unites Us – Propark Dialogues - 2nd Edition
Nature and Business – Second Edition
3 April 2025 – the second edition of the Nature That Unites Us – Propark Dialogues series focuses on the theme Nature and Business.
How can nature inspire and sustain a business?
What is the connection between the local economy and natural resources?
How can we create successful businesses that respect and sustainably harness Romania’s natural and cultural heritage?
For this edition of Propark Dialogues, we are joined by Dorian Lungu – entrepreneur, trainer, and creator of the Gastro Local concept, a project that promotes the most authentic rural gastronomic experiences in Romania and has quickly become a European best practice example. Over the years, Dorian has contributed to the development of several companies and organisations, including Luado Chocolate, a local artisanal chocolate brand.
Dialogue topics:
· Nature as an economic resource – why protecting it is an investment, not a cost.
· How the business sector can actively contribute to protecting nature and benefit at the same time.
· From vision to reality – what it means to build a responsible business in Romania.
· Ways in which the business community can get involved in nature conservation.
The dialogue will be facilitated by Adela Stanciu, Propark fundraiser, in an open conversation about the intersection between entrepreneurship, nature, and community.
Why we organise these events
Nature is not just a resource – it is a partner in any economic activity. Through these dialogues, we aim to explore how a responsible business environment can contribute to the conservation and sustainable valorisation of nature, and how nature remains essential for the success of any business.
