Nature and Sport – 3rd Edition

3 June 2025 – The third edition of the Nature That Unites Us – Propark Dialogues will explore the theme Nature and Sport.

·       What does it truly mean to be active and in harmony with nature?

·       How does the natural environment influence both athletic performance and our overall well-being?

Our guest: Flavius Țurcanu – athlete, coach, consultant, and international trainer, with over 20 years of experience in sports and physical education. He is the founder of Fiteducation Romania, European champion in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and President of ACS Fiteducation, where he promotes sport as a form of education, development, and connection with nature.

Dialogue facilitator: Tiberiu Chiricheș, Director, Propark – Foundation for Protected Areas

We will discuss:

·       Nature as a training ground – and as a teacher of inner balance;

·       How performance changes outdoors vs. indoors; the connection between nature and athletic achievement;

·       Sport, sustainability, and health – a necessary triad;

·       The role of physical activity in reconnecting with nature and community.
