People for Nature – On the Profession of Ichthyologist with Nagy András Attila
In the context of the ecological disaster at the Praid Salt Mine, the latest episode in the People for Nature series – dedicated to ichthyologist Nagy András Attila – though filmed some time ago, takes on a painfully urgent relevance: the loss of aquatic biodiversity is no longer just a hypothetical scenario, but a reality that demands, more than ever, that we value the expertise and voices of those who fight every day to maintain the balance of ecosystems.
The People for Nature film series highlights dedicated conservation professionals from Romania, showcasing both the complexity of their work and the deeply human motivation behind their efforts to protect our natural heritage. The project was initiated to inspire and motivate young people at the start of their careers and to offer the wider public an authentic perspective on professions that are essential for our shared future.
