Between 14–16 May 2024, Propark – Foundation for Protected Areas took part in the final event of the European LIFE ENABLE project, held in Castelfranco, Italy, under the title “Developing the European Nature Academy – future-proof training & capacity building for Natura 2000 and Protected Areas”.

As a project partner for three years, Propark contributed to the development of an innovative self-assessment tool for Natura 2000 management teams – the Group Competence Assessment Tool.

During a workshop facilitated by Erika Vaida Bela and Mara Bulea, we showcased how this tool can support strategic professional development planning, training curriculum design, and enhance the effectiveness of conservation teams across Europe.
