Propark is collaborating with the IUCN World Commission on Protected Areas (WCPA) to modernize the Global Register of Competences Assessment Application (Tool) for Protected Area Practitioners.

This digital tool is an essential resource used worldwide for self-assessing professional capacities and identifying development needs among individuals managing protected natural areas.

The aim of the project is to update and enhance the application's performance by introducing new functionalities, optimizing the user interface, and improving the overall efficiency of the platform. Propark is developing a new versionof the tool, starting with a prototype that will be tested and refined based on feedback from IUCN experts.

Key project stages include:

·       Analysis of current application requirements;

·       Redesign and development of new features, while maintaining the core existing functionalities;

·       Full testing of the updated version;

·       Handover and training session for platform and database administration.

Through this initiative, Propark is directly contributing to strengthening professionalism and effectiveness in protected area management globally, reinforcing its role as a key technical actor within the international conservation expert network.
