From the Road Trip 4 Nature project in partnership with ProPark - the Protected Areas Foundation, we also produced a documentary film about US national parks and how they are protected. The film is made by Cosmin Dumitrache and Dan Dinu, and you will have the opportunity to meet them and discuss more their adventure.
Projection and Distribution
The documentary film will be screened during the Alpin Film Festival on March 1, 19:00 at Cinema One Brasov (Hall 1), within the Coresi Shopping Resort.
Synopsis
Beginning in October 2017, the Road Trip 4 Nature project has proposed a journey through both some of America's most famous national parks and a few smaller but exciting reservations to understand how nature is protected here and what we have to learn from those who have practically invented this concept. For 43 days, Dan and Cosmin have long traveled through US reservations, looking for beautiful landscapes and interesting stories to tell in a documentary film. From the tumultuous history of the settlements of the Smoky Mountains to the Congolese marshes on the east coast, from the amazing labyrinth of the Badlands to the famous canyons of the Southwest, from the coast of California to Yellowstone, the first national park of the world, their story can be seen now in Brasov, during two special events, part of the Alpin Film Festival.
